The TransPac is an innovative and versatile diving harness suitable for the most rugged diving conditions while maintaining absolute comfort.

From comfortably cruising reefs, to penetrating wrecks and caves, the completely modular TransPac BC harness can be easily switched from single tanks to doubles, or even used with side-mounted tanks.

The adjustable padded shoulder straps cinch for a perfect fit, stay where you set them, and allow easy switching between wetsuit and drysuit.

The elegant and clean design of the adjustable shoulder straps don't interfere with the waist straps, meaning the waist D-rings don't move when you adjust the shoulders.

Standard features include shoulder, waist and back plate D-rings; stainless waist belt buckle; dual shoulder releases; and TWO of Dive Rite's exclusive stainless cam buckle tank straps.

The shoulder and waist D-ring positions are adjustable or can be removed entirely, and additional D-rings and buckles can easily be added for special needs.

The TransWeight system along with a huge selection of pockets and other accessories can be quickly be mounted or removed at the waist belt.

AQUALUNG MISTRAL REGULATOR

The "Mistral," is a modern version of the original Mistral regulator created in 1958 by Aqua Lung founder Jacques Cousteau.

The new Mistral is unique in that it uses technology and common parts with Aqua Lung's highly successful Titan regulator. This makes routine servicing easy and available worldwide.

With its multiple MP and HP ports the diver can connect the full range of peripheral elements: octopus- submersible pressure gauge- BC and dry suit inflators.

The Mistral- based on a well-known tried and tested design- will be easy to maintain in complete safety. The Mistral first stage is based on the highly regarded Titan.

In terms of breathing, twin hoses are quite different to single-hose regulators and you need to understand the Mistral's modus operandi before you use it. In the water, when you first breathe from the Mistral, it is immediately apparent that it is much harder to breathe from than a single-hose regulator. However, tilt your head upwards and the regulator goes into positive flow. The reason for this is the relative position of the second stage and the corrugated hoses

Air from your tank comes to you from the right hose and your exhalation is routed through the left hose so the bubbles escape behind your head . . . a photographer's wet dream. It's even quieter than a typical single hose regulator, although not as quiet as a rebreather.
