My apologies for the slight delay in getting this out but things have been
so hectic here that trying to find time to draft this out has been a
challenge plus we are still in the midst of having a serious re-look at our
operations to see how we can further improve our services and offerings for
YOU.
Our new instructor Bob has been absolutely swamped with new sign up’s for
courses and this is, especially to us, a very good sign of better things to
come in the near future.
As mentioned earlier, we are also “dismantling” our current dive calendar
for 2009 with plans to re launch it as “something for everyone” soon. This
is also in line with our plans for a major revamp of our website to allow
for more detailed information in all ways to make life easier for you to
make your decisions, be in on trips, dive courses or our extensive retail
department.
On the retail side of things, our shelves are (again) restocked and are
excited with two new dive computers from SUUNTO. Details of which have
already been posted for you.
We are still very busy with our selection of dive trips and the next
available one will be from the 1st to 5th of May 2009 to the newly revamped
Tasik Ria Resort in Manado, which details are, once again, already posted on
our website.
The latest “new” development is that, in view of the very many new
underwater photographers being in the water now, we will be offering our
underwater photography clinics, conducted by our very own photo pro, Ivan
Choong, once a month starting from the 30th of May 2009. This course will
consist of a theory session on the fundamentals of underwater photography on
a Saturday afternoon, followed by a full “hands on” session with TWO pool
session conducted on the next day or a Sunday. For more information on this,
please write directly to Ivan at photo@scubadynamics.com.my
For those of you on a budget, we do have a variety of 2nd hand or used
items, including an Olympus C 5050 camera and original Olympus housing
complete with accessories that has just come back from a comprehensive
service at the Olympus Service Centre in Singapore. Interested? Just send us
an email for more information.
There you go folks, a quickie update rather than the long winded ones that
you all have been subjected to in the past.
Have a great Holy Week, Happy Good Friday and Happy Easter to those of you
who are celebrating this and to the others, have a great weekend ahead.
