Hello all,

For my very 1st posting for 2007, I bring you our Happy 2007 greeting from all of us here at Scuba Dynamics, albeit a bit late and in a matter of weeks, it will be Chinese New Year greetings.

First, the bad news.
Our planned Underwater Photography Workshop due to run on the Hin Daeng / Hin Muang trip has been called off. This is due to a number of cancellations that would make this workshop less exciting than it should be. However, the trip is still running as planned and we are down to the very last few places so if you are planning on joining us on this trip, please make your reservations NOW and also note that a minimum trip deposit of RM500.00 / diver also needs to paid by Sunday, 14th January 2007 and balance will be due by the Wednesday, 24th January 2007.

Now, the good news:
We will be going ahead with an Underwater Photography Workshop, to be conducted here in Scuba Dynamics at some stage after the Chinese New Year holidays.
Requirements are that you must sign up for the latest PADI (and currently the best selling Specialty), the PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty at RM500.00, and that you need to provide your own underwater camera system. Depending on the number of participants, we will try our best to help you out with loaned or rental sets for the workshop.

Then the better news:
Upon completion of this course with Scuba Dynamics, you may submit up to three photographs, one each of macro, wide angle and general (above or underwater), printed in matt or glossy finish at a minimum of 5R size taken on any Scuba Dynamics organised trip throughout 2007 at any destination. There will be a selection process where the best entries from each trip will be put aside for the final judging at some stage prior to Divers Night 2007, where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded
The prizes? Not telling yet but be rest assured it will be of good value and of course, diving related.

We are also proud to announce that with immediate effect, we will be conducting the full range of EFR courses (EFR for Adults AND the EFR Care for Children programs with our very own Adult & Infant Mannequins AND AED Trainer. This means we are able to offer you the complete and full range of courses from Bubblemaker & Seal Team divers for the younger “wannabe’” right up to the professional level and highly sought after PADI Divemaster and Assistant Instructor levels with a full set of Specialty certifications at most reasonable prices (in spite of raising costs this (and every) year.

There are more plans on the drawing boards at this stage that has something to offer you, the strictly fun & leisure diver, the more adventurous diver, the seriously hard core diving addict and those looking at Going Pro in the most exciting, fun and rewarding career as a PADI Diving Professional.
