Hello Folks,

As they say, time flies when we are having fun. At the blink of an eye, it has now come to the last 3 months of our diving season here in West Malaysia. This season has been kind to us and to date, we have a total of 56 certifications from all levels. Out of these certifications, we are proud to have introduced 31 new Open Water divers to the aquatic environment. However, the season has yet to end and we expect more certifications coming up soon.

Promotions, promotions, promotions! Yes, we are having ongoing promotions for BARE wetsuits, Suunto dive computers, Atomic masks and fins, Sherwood regulators and Akona bags. We also have a special Sherwood hardware package which consists of a Sherwood BCD and regulator set which is only going for RM2,210.00. If you have a special someone who's birthday is coming up soon, a special anniversary or want to buy an early Christmas present, do consider these items as they are quite a bargain! Also in store are some new toys such as the Uwatec Galileo Sol. Yes, my fellow divers, it has landed and is in store at Scuba Dynamics. It is one heck of a dive computer which incorporates hearbeat into work load hence tailoring decompression calculations to your dive. This baby is undoubtedly one of its kind and prides itself as the top of the line dive computer. I am very envious of one of our DM trainee whom hurriedly purchased our first unit 2 days after it arrived in the store.

For those whom are not a PADI Enriched Air diver yet, we are currently offering the course at RM450 and classes are scheduled for every last Wednesday (6-9pm) of the month. Now with the new syllabus, you do not need to do the physical dive to be certified. If you have been exploring the idea of longer bottom time and less lethargic dives, do consider taking this specialty.

For the next 3 months, we have scheduled a host of trips, both local and overseas. Having said this, take note that this is not an exhaustive list as we are consistently putting in new trips and will keep you inform when they are up. For those who missed the boat for our MEGA dive trip to Puerto Gallera, Philippines, this coming Merdeka holidays, do not worry as we have another one coming up during the Hari Raya holidays in October. Also during the same time, we have a trip to Bali in view of the Mola Mola (Sunfish) season. Aside from the Mola Mola, other attractions in Bali is the famous Liberty wreck off the shores of Tulamben and also some really good muck diving in Seraya (also off the Tulamben shores). Another interesting trip on our calendar is to Lembeh Straits in September. For those who loves macro life and are hooked on underwater photography, this definitely a destination not to be missed. There are limited spaces on these trips hence do sign up soon to avoid dissapointment.
