Hello and greetings again to my friends, valued customers & fellow divers,

 

While counting down to the last few weeks of our local diving season here in Peninsular Malaysia, I am happy to report that 29 of us have just returned from a happily successful, fun filled & safe dive trip to Puerto Galera in the Philippines where most of us did a total of nine leisure dives and one Project AWARE shore dive where a total of 103 Kgs of litter was collected from the shore line of Sabang Beach and the house reef (where a Sea Horse was spotted too!!!).

 

Clearly, with a small group of volunteers, divers & non divers alike, managing to come up with 103 Kgs of litter in 30 minutes in one afternoon, one wonders what a difference this will make if such an event or activity were to be organised on a regular basis????

 

Apart from a cloudy (with some drizzling) first day, everything cleared up from the 2nd day on and some awesome diving was enjoyed by all at some amazing dive sites that offered an amazing variety of underwater sights.

 

Luckily for us, transfers, food accommodation and surface side fun made it an enjoyable but short holiday, with our thanks to Mermaid Resort and Dive Centre.

 

A total of about 1000 top side photos were taken of the group going about their daily activities and some of these photos will be published soon. The underwater photographers were delighted with their results, yet again proving that this destination is one of those “not to be missed” ones.

 

Having said that, we are busy finishing off a variety of dive courses in view of the upcoming monsoon season and of course, a selection of great dive trips have been organised from now through to February 2008, to ensure that we still get our fix of Nitrogen.

 

Our store has again received a fairly large shipment of diving equipment, accessories, toys & gadgets to take advantage of next year’s expected price increases so pop by real soon to have a good browse around and pick up that little something th t needs replacing or a couple of our very own Gift Vouchers for the upcoming festive season.
