Hello all,

In view of the Malaysian National Day holidays, the holy month of Ramadhan , the Hari Raya holidays and soon or right after that, the end of our local diving season for 2008, we decided to push this mailer out a little earlier so you may take advantage of the various offerings that are mentioned here.

Firstly, our shelves have just been topped up and this may be the last "big" topping up for this year so if you haven't got yourself or your loved ones that little something yet, do so now, either in form of some diving equipment, accessories, toys, gadgets, reference books or to make life easier with decisions, our Gift Vouchers.

Scuba Dynamics has reinstated our dealership arrangements with the new distributors for the fine line of Uwatec dive computers and as such, are now able to serve you again and better than before with this great piece of precision engineering for divers.

As you may already know, Scuba Dynamics has also reactivated our PADI 5 Star IDC Centre status and have just recently concluded our very own in-house PADI IDC, where our dear friends, Nanda Kumar and Alex Chandran of Global Scuba of KL successfully became full fledged PADI instructors while, in line with Scuba Dynamics' tradition, they not merely passed but excelled themselves by achieving top scores in their theoretical and practical applications.

We offer our congratulations to Nanda and Alex once again while saying thank you to our very own PADI Course Director, Arnold Yap, for a job well done. Naturally, with this new achievement, Nanda will be reporting for duty as part of the professional team of Scuba Dynamics, as soon as he shakes off his hangover from the mandatory celebrations.

Stayed tuned for our next PADI IDC that is scheduled to begin in September.

Our range of the exclusive diving system, Halcyon, has been doing so well that we had to top up on that and as expected because of the upcoming festive season, our exclusive line of Dive Junkie apparel has also seen a big jump in demand, both as gifts as well as for personal use.

In short, more and more people are finding out that Scuba Dynamics is not only the best stocked "dive shop" in town but we offer extremely competitive prices and a yet unmatched standard of "after sales" service by backing every single piece of the 700 different items we carry at any one time but is certainly one of the "friendliest" and "cuts no corners" PADI Dive Centres where diver education is concerned in our full range of PADI dive courses and diving adventures whilst on holidays, training or otherwise.

The latest line of products to grace our shelves is a carefully selected range of fine underwater imaging accessories, all of course, with full warranties by the original manufacturers along with extremely useful "how to" books for the beginner or advanced underwater photographer.

Our "off season" dive trips are filling up very nicely and with this mailer, we put out our "last call" for our trips to the world renowned Anilao in the Philippines, Manado in Indonesia and of course, the ever favourite Lembeh Straits. Our planned trip to Pulau Weh in Indonesia over the Christmas holidays is also attracting a lot of attention recently in spite of Christmas being quite a while away.

Please also take note that we are, for the very first time, launching a non diving holiday package with one of our friends in diving, the very lovely "boutique" Kima Bajo Resort in Manado, Indonesia.

This will be over the school holidays and has something to offer you, the wifey, hubby, the kids, mum and dad – everyone except the family petJ Details on our website or please give us a tinkle.

As always, Scuba Dynamics will be launching some new destinations in the nearby region and further away to cater to you, our valued customer, discerning and fellow diver and of course, with the usual "value for money" factor built in from next year.

The news that many have been waiting for is that our famed annual Divers Graduation Night party will be held on Saturday the 6^th of December 2008 and more details will be announced as we go along but rest assured of the usual goodies and maybe more but certainly a great night out with friends & fellow divers.

In case you haven't noticed or have forgotten, there is now a "breaking news" box smack in front of our web page and this was created especially for us to make impromptu announcements and (so far) has been updated daily as is our diving group on Facebook.

As a reminder again, Scuba Dynamics will be closed for the Malaysian National Day holidays and will resume business as normal from Tuesday, 2^nd September 2008.
