Greetings and glad tidings to our friends, valued customers and valued customers,

As the stretch of festivities and endless holidays has tapered off, things are slowly returning to a sense of normalcy again and with this, our February 2009 mailer.

To start off, we wish to thank everyone who were with us on our recently concluded trip to the ever so lovely Sipadan Water Village Resort, where a multi - national group of 32 of us can only describe as a most wonderful, fun and exciting trip. With this, I wish to extend my personal thanks to Mr. Stig Malmberg who contributed in a big way in the "Swedish Invasion" of Mabul Island. Thanks Stig.

We will be making a return trip to SWV again in March in conjunction with the Mabul Photo Fiesta, tagged as 'go as a diver and return as an underwater photographer", where our very own photo pro, Mr. Ivan Choong will be on site to guide all interested participants in their underwater photography skills and techniques.

The best part is that Ivan will not be charging us for his expertise, time & efforts so let's take advantage of this excellent opportunity to get to dive with SWV and participate in Ivan's underwater photography clinic at absolutely no extra cost

Efforts are also underway to secure some underwater cameras for those who do not yet own their own systems to join us in this but confirmations on this can only be made at a later date. Details of this trip are already on our website so do log in for a virtual visit and see how YOU too can become an accomplished underwater photographer and get to dive the lovely Sipadan and Mabul region and the same time.

Although still on the drawing boards, we are looking at going to Puerto Galera, Manado, Lembeh Strait, Komodo Islands, Donzol, Malapascua, Ko Lanta, Christmas Island and a couple of others for this year and again, details will be announced as they come on line.

As many, if not most of you already know, we will be having our tremendously popular Annual Sales from the 17 th to 22 nd of February and it is strongly suggested that you come early for the best choices as all items will be on a cash & carry basis with no pre orders or pre bookings and please note that inventory will not be replenished during the sales period. We are also in discussion with some major suppliers to see how we can make this an even more exciting and "profitable" experience for all, then go diving right after that.

While on the subject of new products, do check out our "latest products" page on our website to see what new goodies we have in stock right now, including the very good reading Coffee Table book, "The Art of Diving", which is also in stock.

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome our latest team member, Helen, who just joined us in our retail department. Helen who originally hails from our East Malaysian state of Sabah, is a PADI certified Rescue Diver and has worked in a couple of dive shops here in Kuala Lumpur and we look forward to seeing her put on her best selling skills on the retail floor and perhaps even out on the island with us soon. Her profile will be uploaded on our website real soon.
