My dear friends, valued customers and fellow divers,

With this, our August 2008 update from Scuba Dynamics, and as usual, we bring you a bunch of good news, information and more great deals.

At the very top of the list is that Scuba Dynamics has reactivated our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre and with this prestigious rating, we are back to conducting professional (instructor) level courses and of course, you could not be in better hands than in a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre can you??

This came about when one of our instructors, Mr. Arnold Yap (PADI 463504), successfully completed his PADI Course Director Training Course in California, USA and now holds the distinguished PADI Course Director rating, Malaysia’s newest and latest.

Our very first in-house IDC started today, 2 nd August 2008 and will stretch over a ten day period with classes conducted in the evenings and the wet stuff on weekends, to cater to the working individuals / instructor candidates.

Do you keep your eyes on our website for more updates on this and the various “packages” available in “Going Pro” with PADI in 2008 / 2009.

The response to our dive trips to Mabul Island in East Malaysia, Anilao in the Philippines, Manado, Lembeh Straits, and Pulau Weh in Indonesia between the upcoming Malaysian National Day and Christmas holidays has been very encouraging and for this, we have our very own Air Asia to thank for launching the route from Kuala Lumpur to Manado at most reasonable prices.

With this, we hope to focus more on this awesome destination in the future.

Do not forget that we are running short “getaway” dive trips on most weekends and our Free & Easy packages are available Anytime, Anywhere to destinations in Malaysia, South East Asia and farther away

Our range of recreational PADI Diving Courses have also been very encouraging this year, with Jeffrey being kept very busy (and wet) in the various stages of training of various on-going courses, with more planned to take advantage of the local diving season, which is expected to come to an end sometime in October.

We also wish to congratulate our newest team member, Dash, on successfully completing the first stage of his internship, as a PADI Open Water Diver, which sets him on his way to becoming a PADI Instructor in due course.

Our dealership status with the most highly respected range of diving equipment, the Halcyon line of equipment and diving system has taken off tremendously and we are looking at going even further with this line of fine diving equipment and of course, details will be announced in due course.

We have recently gone in selling a fairly extensive line of underwater photography accessories and since that this been so successful, we will also be venturing further in this.

Our exclusive line of diving apparel, Dive Junkie, has also been very well received by shoppers at Scuba Dynamics and we will, yes, also, be going farther in this as this proven to be THE chosen line of fine diving apparel which anyone wears with pride on their dive and other outings.

Our website, www.scubadynamics.com.my has just been fully updated and in case you haven’t visited recently, we have also included a “ Breaking News “ box where we put in (almost daily) impromptu announcements, which means that this is another good reason to pay us repeated virtual visits from the comfort of your desks or where ever you may be. More features are being sorted out to be included in our website with the goal to make this a totally user friendly and informative website for YOU, our valued customers.

Our retail department has again been an extremely busy department in Scuba Dynamics and with the recent arrival of great new diving equipment, accessories, gadgets and toys, we can again safely stand by our claim of being Kuala Lumpur’s most compressive and well stocked “ one stop” PADI Dive Center.
