Firstly, my apologies for the delay in getting this mailer out but the reasons behind it are many.
We recently returned from a dive trip to the highly renowned Anilao region in the Philippines but sadly, due to it being the wrong time of the year, the trip turned out to be rather mediocre as far as the diving was concerned.
As a result, we will be putting our emphasis on some new destinations and carry on working with some of our more popular ones and will be dropping some in the next season.
Trip wise, our upcoming trip to Lembeh Strait over the Deepavali holidays is fully booked, the Christmas trip to Pulau Weh has been filling up nicely with only a limited number of places remaining while our trip to the very lovely Sipadan Water Village Resort over Chinese New Year of 2009 is down to the very last room on the Sipadan Wing (furthest from the dive centre) and three more rooms at the Mabul Wing (right next to the dive centre).
Our trip to the lovely Tasik Ria Resort in Manado at the middle of November is also filling up very nicely with just a few more rooms left.
As a result of the annual North East monsoon, the resorts on our east coast are now closed, with the exception of Tioman and Pulau Aur; we will be running our very last few local trips to complete some dive courses.
Equipment and accessory wise, our shelves are again fully stocked up and while many items are still on "promotion prices", Suunto announced at the end of last month that they will be increasing the prices of all their products this month, October 2008, but to date, we still haven't got details of this so all items are still at the "old" and promotion prices until we are advised otherwise.
There is still a lot of work for us here in consolidating all that has happened this year, making preparations and plans for 2009, which among other things, include our extremely popular Annual Divers Graduation Night which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 6th of December 2008, our Annual Sales, revamp of our website, new destinations and a general "tune up" of our operations in order for us to serve you better.
Another piece of good news is that we welcome Mr. Nanda Kumar, a customer & dear friend of Scuba Dynamics and I personally, on board our team of instructors. His profile and picture will be put up on the web shortly but for the impatient ones, Nanda has trained with us since his Advanced Open Water Diver days, about 6 years ago, right through to his highly successful PADI Open Water Instructor status, which was recently attained through our own in-house Instructor Development Course conducted by PADI Course Director, Mr. Arnold Yap.
Please join us in welcoming Nanda on board Scuba Dynamics of Malaysia.
Stayed tuned for more updates or visit our popular Face book group "Diving with Scuba Dynamics of Malaysia" and our home page for impromptu news flashes.
The other big news that many of you already know and many more don't know is that I just got married on Saturday, 11th October and am looking to venture into another happy chapter of my lifeJ
Till then, stay well, be happy, dive safe and of course, dive Scuba Dynamics, anytime, anywhere..
